After a day in the old town, come to El Cangrejo for dinner the way Panamanians do it. Siete Mares opened in 1978, and many of our guests have been coming back for decades to celebrate with family. It is a short ride from most hotels in the city.
From the Panamanian Caribbean to your table
Our centollo comes mainly from San Blas. Lobster comes from San Blas and the Caribbean coast of Colón. Both arrive at our kitchen fresh and alive.
Lobster, three ways
Not every preparation is printed on the menu, so just ask your waiter.
- A la plancha: grilled, for the pure flavor of the lobster.
- Thermidor: the classic gratin.
- Al ajillo: with garlic.
Paella, made to order
We make three paellas, each priced per person with a minimum of two: Paella Mixta, Paella Cuatro Carnes (four meats) and Paella Vegana. You can add lobster to any of them. If you prefer a juicier seafood rice, ask for the Arroz Marinera. Paella to go is ready in 30 minutes.

Live piano and private rooms
From Thursday to Saturday, dinner comes with live piano. For private celebrations and business dinners we have private rooms for groups of 10 to 110 people.
